Coloplast brings its national sales meeting to the forest at Center Parcs

The Solution

Working closely with the Coloplast planning team, Center Parcs Conferences & Events delivered a tailored event experience that combined business content, networking opportunities and leisure activities in a unique forest setting.

A key part of the event was giving delegates greater choice. Rather than assigning the same activity to everyone, attendees were invited to select activities they were most and least interested in. This helped create a more personalised experience while encouraging colleagues to connect with people they may not normally work alongside.

Throughout the planning process, the Center Parcs team supported several specific delegate requirements, including mobility assistance and a specialist dietary need, ensuring every attendee could fully participate in the event.

Rest, refuel and rise

The theme of the event was "Rest, Refuel and Rise", reflecting Coloplast's ambition to reward teams for their achievements while preparing them for future success.

The forest environment played a key role in bringing this theme to life. Delegates stayed in lodges within the forest and enjoyed opportunities to meet, connect and unwind away from a traditional conference setting.

From walking between venues and lodges to taking part in activities alongside new colleagues, networking became a natural part of the experience rather than something confined to scheduled sessions. 

"Generally, we all loved being outside. It felt so relaxing and peaceful."

The Impact

The event successfully achieved Coloplast's objectives, providing delegates with time to recharge while strengthening connections across the business.

By deliberately mixing teams during activities, the event created opportunities for conversations and collaboration between colleagues who may not typically work together. The forest setting also had a noticeable impact on engagement levels, helping delegates fully embrace the experience.

Initial feedback from attendees was overwhelmingly positive, with some describing it as the company's best National Sales Meeting to date.

Although moving away from a traditional hotel venue initially felt like a leap into the unknown, the decision proved to be a successful one.
