Why did you choose Center Parcs Sherwood Forest?

We were looking for a venue that represented healthy lifestyles. We also thought it offered something different to the normal hotel venue – it’s an environment that inspires teamwork and gives people the opportunity to share common areas in the lodges

What were your core goals and objectives?

Our key objectives were to update all employees on business results, department activities, and any upcoming challenges. The conference was also a great opportunity to bring the team closer together through shared enjoyment of an evening party and group activities on day two.

What added extras were you able to include in the event due to holding it at Center Parcs?

Hosting the event at Center Parcs meant we were able to take part in the activities on site. When using other venues, we would have to get transportation to a different destination for the activity part of the day.

Did you choose any leisure activities or teambuilding for delegates? How did you decide on the activities and what was the response like from delegates?

Yes, we opted for Orienteering and Laser Combat. Due to the wide range of ages at the company we decided to go with simpler, more inclusive activities that would appeal to everyone.

Any consideration given to corporate social responsibility issues, such as recycling, car-sharing or carbon off-setting?

We organised car-sharing to and from the conference.

What feedback did you receive from the guests?

The team had a wonderful time and have expressed that the conference was one of the best! I have already been in discussions with people today about revisiting with their families.
