"An inspiring, engaging and dynamic event" - Lush

Ethical and eco-conscious beauty brand Lush chose Center Parcs Woburn Forest to host an activity-packed getaway for 150 of the Lush UK&I retail team including all store managers and support, with a bespoke, fully vegan menu throughout the event.

Finding an event partner that shared their values

Beauty brand Lush are leading the way when it comes to cruelty-free corporate events. They were planning a company-wide event for 150 delegates, and they wanted to find a venue “that aligned with our goal to leave the world Lusher than we found it.”

Center Parcs was a natural choice

We’ve recently been awarded the ECOsmart Gold Venue accreditation, thanks in part to our sustainable approach to food waste management, initiatives to reduce food miles and access to fair-trade, ethically produced, organic food and drinks – making us an ideal event partner for eco-conscious Lush.

A bespoke, fully vegan menu

At Lush’s request, we created a bespoke, entirely vegan menu for their event, which included a buffet lunch and breakfast hampers. The menu featured sweet potato and broccoli puttanesca, Middle Eastern vegetable wraps, vegetable kebabs, vegan nachos, vegan hot dogs, aubergine parmigiana, cauliflower pomegranate and pistachio salad, BBQ Quorn ribs and vegan cheesecake.

The chance to try something new

Some people are often reluctant to try vegan food, so this fully vegan menu was an opportunity to introduce delegates to exciting new flavours and prove that plant-based food tastes great (and feels good too). It was a mouth-watering feast for vegans, vegetarians and meat-eaters alike, and we hope it inspired them to include more plant-based food into their diet at home.

Overall, the event received incredibly positive feedback from delegates, who really appreciated the venue, location and lodges as well as the food. We loved hosting the Lush team for their incredible, ethical event. We hope they all had a lush time in the forest and we look forward to welcoming them back soon!
