The central location was convenient for their widespread team, and they were impressed by the recently upgraded conference area. Crucially, having the conference space, accommodation and activities all in one place created an effortless and enjoyable event experience.
A place where leaders could “get together to innovate and think creatively”
Turtle Bay’s core goals and objectives for the event were to share their strategy for FY25 with business leaders, excite and engage them for the upcoming year, celebrate the previous year's successes, and foster innovation and creativity through collaboration. Sustainability is also very important to them, so they were looking for an event partner that shared these values. The natural forest environment and Center Parcs’ ethos supported these objectives perfectly.

The day began with a welcome and buffet-style lunch, followed by a conference featuring several speakers. Delegates then participated in team-building activities, breakout sessions and a round-up session before returning to their lodges to prepare for the evening. The evening featured a drinks reception, an awards ceremony, and a three-course dinner. Games such as roulette and Mario Kart added fun to the night, which ended with a DJ and dance floor.
Tailored team-building activities
Activities were carefully chosen to align with the overall aims of the event. Center Parcs worked closely with Turtle Bay to organise team-building exercises that would be both engaging and beneficial, encouraging communication, creativity and collaboration between delegates and helping to strengthen important working relationships.

Feedback from delegates was overwhelmingly positive. They found the day “interactive and informative”, praising the variety of activities. The teams really enjoyed spending time in the lodges in the forest, and the evening meal received praise from attendees too – a resounding success overall.
